To promote the transformative power of pilgrimage on the Camino, a  private family fund is offering scholarships through the Friends for Anglican or Episcopal seminarians in formation for ordination.

Each scholarship recipient will receive $2500 to cover airfare, lodging and meals to walk or bike the Camino route of their choice (one that meets the minimum requirements to receive a Compostela.) Travel must be completed within 15 months of the receipt of scholarship funds.

Scholarship recipients are asked to provide a variety of photos, videos, written reflections and/or presentations about their Camino experience as a way to voice their support for the Camino pilgrimage and the Anglican presence in Santiago. These contributions will be shared via the Friends’ newsletters, website, and social media outlets.

Deadline for submission is November 30, 2022. Scholarships will be awarded and announced in January 2023.

Clergy Sabbatical Scholarships

Scholarships for clergy sabbatical in the same amount of $2500 are offered periodically. Sign up to receive notification on the next application period.
